I spent nearly 20 years in the fire service, both as a volunteer and career. My last 10 years was with the Lexington Fire Department in Lexington, KY. I also had the privilege, for a few years, to be a State Fire Instructor in Kentucky. 

I have been woodworking for over 20 years but since left the fire service due to a back injury, I have focused on it more. I am steadily growing my shop, learning and always eager to do a project. I am constantly learning new techniques to hone my craft. Much like the fire service, you are always learning!
